A different way to cook eggs.

You're out in the woods and facing a small army of hungry kids. What's on the menu? Scrambled eggs.
Simple right? Wrong! John doesn't want onions, Tamara can't stand peppers, Bobby can't have salt, Sidney is allergic to mushrooms. So many preferences and you have one pan, What do you do?

Don't worry, we have a solution. Check out the video below on how to satisfy everyone without going crazy or even frying a single egg.

What You'll Need (besides ingredients):
  1. Pot
  2. Water
  3. Heat source
  4. Ziploc Freezer Bags

A few notes:
Some people call them omelets. We've always called them scrambled.
Sorry for my head being cut off. The editor did something weird when we put the video into it.

5 Tips for participating in a benefit walk/race.

So you've registered to walk for a cure. Great! Now what? Here are 5 things you should consider when you start your trek.

This year we had the chance to participate in the 2015 Philadelphia Breast Cancer Walk/Race. As with any type of outing, there are a few things you need to consider so you are having fun while supporting and helping to find a cure. There are definitely more things to consider. Please feel free to add your knowledge in the comments.

1. Location Location Location!
Find out where things are. Nothing is worse than getting to a place full of thousands of people that you don't know and having know clue where to start. The charity running the event will usually include that information on their website. Another option is to just ask someone. There are thousands of people there! I got separated from the group because I went to park the van. I assumed they were taking the same trail as the year prior. After following the flow of supporters for a while, I found out that I was on the shorter route which was on opposite side of the event.

I should have come here first!

2. Water water everywhere!
If you've ever been outside in the heat, you know that drinking water is essential. One of the great things about these events is that they have you covered. There are water stations usually posted along the route. Unless you have your own supply, don't skip out on a free thirst quenching bottle of good ol' H2O.

3. Uuuuhhh! Breathe in! Haaaaa! Breath out!
I think it's pretty obvious that we are not super human. It's really important to take lots of breaks. There is no shame in taking a break. Take time to people watch and hydrate like we mentioned in step 2. You'll feel better and you will finish strong.

Take a load off.

4. If it's free, it's for me!
There can be some giveaways or raffles at these events. Although raffles aren't "free", are you still going to worry about $5 if you've just won a car???

Also, there may be free food stands where you can get a quick bite to eat after that long haul. Or before ;)

Wawa mini tent
Gotta have a Wawa
Wawa monster tent
All hail the Wawa
5. Hitch a ride!
If the event is near public transportation, it may be a better idea to use it rather than drive if you can.
1st- It allows those that are coming from out of town the ability to find a spot.
2nd- You keep the local streets from being over congested.
3rd- You can avoid a looong walk back to your car after you've already had a looong walk for a cure.
